Cookie Policy

If you’ve configured your browser to accept cookies, we may passively collect non-personally identifiable information using “cookies”.

Last revised on May 24, 2018, effective as of May 25, 2018

This Cookie Policy refers to information collected by Stuffix Inc. (referred to in this Cookie Policy as “Stuffix”, “us”, “we” or “our”), the provider of the Helprace website and services accessible from the Helprace website (Collectively referred to herein as the “Websites”).

The purpose of this Cookie Policy is to clear up how we use your information. As we’re trying to be more transparent, this Cookie Policy provides detailed information about how and when we use cookies on the Websites.

What is a cookie?

Cookies” are small text files that can be placed on your computer or mobile device in order to identify your Web browser and your computer’s activities on the Websites.

What is local storage?

Local storage is a technology that supports persistent data storage, similar to cookies but with a greatly enhanced capacity and security.

Does Stuffix use cookies and local storage, and why?

Yes. We use cookies and local storage to personalize your experience on the Websites (such as dynamically generating content on webpages customized for you), and to assist you in using the Websites (i.e. saving time by not having to reenter your name each time you use the Websites), to allow us to statistically monitor how you are using the Websites so that we can improve our offerings, and to target certain advertisements to your browser which may be of interest to you or to determine the popularity of certain content. Understand that this cookie policy does not govern the use of third-party websites or services or providers of third-party services.

The Websites include third party social media features, such as authentication via Facebook, Twitter or Google and Facebook page widget. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on the Websites, and set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Your interaction with these features is governed by the privacy policy of the third party’s services you are using.

Do I have to accept them?

You do not have to accept cookies to use the Websites. If you reject cookies, certain features or resources of the Websites may not work properly or at all and you may have a limited experience.

Although most browsers are initially set to accept cookies, you can change your browser settings to notify you when you receive a cookie or to reject cookies generally. To learn more about how to control privacy settings and cookie management, click the link for your browser below.

To learn more about cookies; how to control, disable or delete them, please visit http://www.aboutcookies.org. Some third party advertising networks, such as Google, allow you to opt out of or customize preferences associated with your internet use. For more information on how Google lets you customize these preferences, see their documentation.

All cookies, on our website and everywhere else on the web, fall into one of three categories:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies. These are essential cookies, without which we cannot provide many services that you need on the Website. For example, session cookies help remember that you’re securely authenticated to the Websites.

  • Analytics Cookies. These cookies track information about visits to the Websites so that we can make improvements and report our performance. For example: analyze visitor and user behavior so as to provide more relevant content or suggest certain actions. These cookies collect information about how visitors use the Websites, which site the user came from, the number of each user’s visits and how long a user stays on the Websites. We might also use analytics cookies to test new ads, pages, or features to see how users react to them.

  • Functionality Cookies. These cookies are not essential, but they enhance your experience. During your visit to the Websites, these cookies are used to remember information you have entered or choices you make (such as your username, language or your region) on the Websites. They also store your preferences when personalizing the Websites to optimize your use of the Websites. These preferences are remembered, through the use of these cookies, and the next time you visit the Websites you will not have to set them again.

We may use any of the following categories of cookies on the Websites as detailed below.
